When I was a kid my weekly Bible study was in the "Let God Be True" book. I really looked forward to that!
Years later (1958) the "Paradise Book" was released for young ones.

As Ray Franz once wrote, the sole measure of what JW's regard as being a spiritual person and spiritually qualified for privileges is how one is measuring up doing the organisation's programme of works, nothing else.

They make it harder to recruit new elders and servants with nonsense like this.
So I propose to make it easier to remove the ones already in that position and aren't doing it. I bet a lot of elders and servants would disappear!
The good ole GB wouldn't want that!

I hate to be in a position of defending one cult over another, but the family night of the Mormons sounds far superior to the family worship night of the JWs.
I am sure the watchtower considered the requirements for the Mormon family night when looking at requrements for the family worship night.
Clearly they needed to kick it up a notch, because of course, they have the true religion. So, everyone loses.
