Anyone see the "Do Jehovah's Witnesses Believe in Jesus?" article in the May 2014 WT (Public Edition)? It's one of those imaginary conversations with a householder articles. I thought it interesting that they acknoweldge we're not called "Jesus' Witnesses", but then conveniently ignore Acts 1:7.

Their Proclaimers book mentions they can also be called Jesus' Witnesses. I wonder why they didn't throw that in there.
They seem to forget about Jesus a lot. In the magazine below they leave him out completely. They replace Jesus with 'the organization'.

Jehovah's witnesses think thier all that and a bag of chips yet know one knows their message and people only know that jw's don't celebrate holidays, don't take blood, go door to door and they also think that jw's don't believe in Jesus. Are not jw's doing a wonderful job of proclaiming the good news of the kingdom.
They believe in him but want no part of him. Its a material religion, not spiritual as the Christ taught .

Those witnesses who still have faith in God and the Christ, should leave the organization together. Maybe in little groups and form their own "bookstudy" without totalitarian "elders" and doctrine dogma. They could have so much more fun, no distress about beeing "in good standing".

Amazing how the society uses Jesus to promote the Watchtower! It is nothing more than an advertisement. Anyhow,
I had a problem right off when they quoted the first two scriptures! One, God love the world so much that he gave his only begotten son. Everyone knows they viewed Jesus as one of many created angels! They always leave out Jesus was the WORD in eternity prior to angels, sons of God.
How do they explain that angels are worshipping Jesus ?
I seriously have come to realize they are anti-Christ.
The prime example is the fact they prevent people from
communion in the body of Christ which is what the bread
and wine are all about, Eat, this is my body. Drink this is my blood.
That was meant for everybody, everybody. It is creepy to see them
file into the memorial and sit there and refuse to partake. its Satanic.
Villagegirl, I would have to agree with you there. The jw's don't venerate Jesus, yet he is the key to all Christianity and our Redeemer.
I have heard more about Jesus in 6 weeks in church, than I did in 14 years a witness!!

We move ahead with Jehovah’s organization when we follow direction, support arrangements for worship, and humbly accept adjustments in the way we understand Bible truth
Don't you just love it when the Watchtower reveals its cultish behaviour?
