9 Through his Son, Jehovah established an arrangement here on earth that works in harmony with the invisible part of the organization. Why is a visible arrangement needed to accomplish the work described at Matthew 24:14? Consider three reasons.

10 First, Jesus stated that this preaching work would take his disciples “to the most distant part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) Second, arrangements would be needed to provide spiritual food and to care for those engaged in this work. (John 21:15-17) Third, provisions would have to be made so that those preaching the good news could gather together to worship Jehovah and be taught how to carry out the work. (Heb. 10:24, 25) Accomplishing these goals could not be done by accident. For Christ’s followers to be successful, the work would need to be well-organized.

11 How do we demonstrate our support for the arrangements made by Jehovah’s organization? One important way is by always putting our confidence in the ones whom Jehovah and Jesus are trusting to lead us in our preaching work. There are many activities or causes in the world today that could vie for the attention of those taking the lead among us. Yet, what has consistently been the focus of the visible part of Jehovah’s organization

I wonder how many jws realize that the word "organization" and the phrase "governing body" does not occur in the bible and there was no organization before the nation of Israel was formed...only family groups. The word sovereignty is another and reinstatement.

    And yet Jehovah's Witnesses claim

" (1) Bible : instead of adhering to a creed based on human tradition, they hold to the Bible as the standard for all thier beliefs. "___Reasoning Book page 199

    WTBTS Cult Leadership 101:

    1. The Setup: Assert that God has "an arrangement" here on earth
    2. The Follow-through: Connect this unfounded assertion to another unprovable "fact": God has an invisible organization in heaven
    3. Obfuscation: Confuse the issue with multiple references to Jesus' apocryphal "End Times" prophecy
    4. Bait & Switch: Convince your patsies that they are somehow supporting God by actually supporting a visible human organization. Remember, the con-artists running this scam have no proven connection to God except their own assertion.
    5. The Clinch: Urge followers to be confident in the perpetrators of this scam by reasserting their backing by "Jehovah and Jesus."

    Lather, rinse, repeat!

The backup for those assertions is found in the Watchtower magazine, which is the same thing as scripture. We know that because the magazine tells us so. Now stop questioning Jehovah and go sell more magazines!

Great post obliette! When the blinders are off, it is amazing how little in the WT has ANY scriptural backing, and how few of the proof texts cited have any relation to the point they are making. They can take one verse and make a 20 paragraph lesson of their own thoughts and Abe able to call it "bible based" how refreshing brothers!

Who needs Scriptures...there is EVIDENCE! Last year, Witnesses spent 1,841,180,235 hours in service! That is all you need to know! It doesn't matter that this equates to 10's of thousands of hours per possible baptism...organized? Hardly!

"A basis for approved fellowship with Jehovahs Witnesses cannot rest merely on a belief in God, in the Bible, in Jesus Christ, and so forth. Simply professing to have such beliefs would not authorize one to be known as one of Jehovahs Witnesses. Approved association with Jehovahs Witnesses requires accepting the entire range of the true teachings of the Bible, including those Scriptural beliefs that are unique to Jehovahs Witnesses."

    ---- Watchtower, April 1, 1986, p. 31

    .

"entire range" and "Scriptural beliefs that are unique to Jehovah's Witnesses" = they are not found in the Bible.
