I miss playing guitar and singing with my 'ex friends' in a band. We used to play at cong 'do's'. Not particularly good but can get by. Anyone go to open mics in the Surrey, Sussex, Kent areas?

Yes and not too far from the places you mention. Was house jazz guitarist in one venue for about 4 years running.
