There was always this one tune that sounded EXACTLY like something by Sinatra!

"If men were like their personal ads, they wouldn't need personal ads."

I always felt that many of those songs reminded me of pre-war Germany.

Oh, I thought you meant "God Save the Queen," by the Sex Pistols

    God save the Queen
    She ain't no human being
    There is no future
    And England's dreaming

I remember all the witnesses that used to play those damn tapes of those songs in their cars out in service. (puke) I used to wonder how you could drive down a highway listening to that and stay awake..

    FYI,

According to Jimmy Kennedy in the book entitled "Something to Laugh About." The Kingdom song "We Thank You Jehovah" was written by Henry Russell, a JW who for many years was a musical composer for NBC Radio.
Also, the song "Keep your eyes on the prize" was written by Ben Homer, a JW musical composer who also wrote the hit song "Sentimental Journey."

The Signs of the Times are Changing (or whatever the f**k its called) is a complete ripoff of The Times They are A'Changin, by Bob Dylan.

He should have sued their asses off!!

I don't remember--doesn't Waltzing Matilda bear more than a resemblence to one of the Kingdumb Smellodies?
