Some relatives of mine now participate in some gift giving and "winter" decoration.
One is a teacher and uses "Winter Holiday" as an excuse for the Christmas type activities in her class.
Others do a kids party,
"hey everyone has the day off, and hey there were some good sales, and hey there is nothing open or going on this time of year".
Hey it's a "Winter Holiday". Yay !!!!!
It's OK to have a Winter Holiday around Saturnalia, but don't you dare celebrate Jesus's birthday then.
