Weird to think about it that way but the answer to aging is out there.

Its funny, we can keep hearts going for so long nowadays, its the ageing brain that reduces so much quality of life in the later years.
A digital brain would avoid all problems with aging At least, that's what Ray Kurzweil is counting on. But it will currently require a ton of power to run a digital brain, so before that we'll probably see more mechanical parts like artificial hearts, then replacement cloned hearts grown in latticeworks or clone bodies, then maybe a while after that, we'll be ready to go all-digital. At that point we'll have achieved nigh-immortality, but I wonder what people will do with it?
Brains & hearts might be alright, how about the crippling Arthritis, bone, joint deterioation with pain to go with it?

Better treatments for both problems are on the way. The amount of research and the progress made is amazing
These 'ageless animals' are well-functioning creatures. 200 year old female Rockfish still lay eggs. 185 year old whales still have sex.
If they can achieve the same solid protein stability and DNA repair, your other stuff may be OK, not just the heart.
