    Hello everyone.

Just wanted to let you know that I've published a new article on the website of the Christian Fraternity of God's People, www.cfjp.weebly.com

The article is called: "Rejoice In The Hope! - The Unifying Hope For All Christians"

    It's divided into several sections:

    1. "In the beginning..."
    2. Created "in God's image"
    3. Sin and death "enter the world"
    4. God held fast to his purpose towards mankind
    5. Jesus came to reveal God's purpose
    6. the "sons of God" have a celestial hope
    7. The death caused by Adam is the absence from God
    8. "Flesh and blood cannot inherit God's Kingdom"
    9. Christian "one hope" versus "another sort of good news"
    10. Declared righteous by faith for a heavenly reward
    11. Baptism and the salvation of the "children of God"
    12. The role of works in the salvation of the sons of God
    13. The "other sheep", the "144.000" and the "great crowd"
    14. God's purpose for Earth and what is "paradise"
    15. Our knowledge is still partial
    16. "Rejoice in the hope"

I hope you enjoy reading it. I wrote it for someone especially dear to me, as a testament of my own hope, but I thought that others could benefit from it as well. As usual, your comments are welcome.

Good article in Chap. 13. Very well explained. But why do you refer to God as "Jehova" instead of just Father?

  • EdenOne

Because "Yahweh" is still the Father's name, after all. [or Jehovah, or Ieova, or Jeová, according to what language ....]

So in your opinion god passively observed the unimaginable suffering of 3 billion years of evolution, including numerous mass extictions, and then when Homo sapiens finally emerged, he decided they were unworthy and created a new pair of humans similar to the ones that had evolved.

What was wrong with the humans that had evolved?

Physically how did Adam and Eve differ from the other humans?

How long ago did this happen?

Did we descend from Adam and Eve or from evolved humans or from a mixture of evovled and created genes?

Jws think only they are the true Christians the rest are so-called. Unity will only occur if all others become baptized jws....

I don't share that view, Blondie. In another article on my website, I observe that the baptism vows as currently practiced among Jehovah's Witnesses don't even truly qualify as a baptism "in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit". We're Christians, but.... so are the others.

Eden you are an MS currently are you not? Very interesting jump for someone to make while they are still "in". It would be interesting to have a drink with you sometime I think.

PA, I'm currently serving as an MS, but I doubt it will be for long ...

As for that drink, it would be my pleasure.
