Blood transfusion and eating pork

    Thank you, TD, that clears it up for me. I've had that thought in my mind for... years. It always seemed odd to me that blood is mentioned twice - 'blood' and 'things strangled'. I can see it from a different perspective, as literal blood and unbled meats - it's not 'repetition for emphasis', but 2 separate issues. I remember someone jw told me about Acts 15:29 - "see how important the ban on blood is - it's reinterated TWICE so we'll 'get it'."

    Jehovah's Witnesses believe fractionation reaches a point where the material in question is no longer blood.

    What they seem to ignore, is the fact that fractions are derived from donated blood,that has been stored in a laboratory before processing.

    All of which goes against their beleifs.Lev.17:13
