Because 1914 wasn't the beginning or ending of ANYTHING (See jwfacts for overwhelming evidence);
1. Witnesses are still in "Gentile Times"
2. Jesus' hasn't begun to reign in Kingdom
3. True religion has not arrived
4. You're actually a part of "Babylon the Great"
5. Last generation hasn't even started yet
6. You will grow old & die
7. You've wasted thousands of hours of your life for nothing serving a manmade religion

The socalled remnant hasn't been picked yet. Not until Jesus come and he will pick that remnant himself! That is why they are called the remnant, what will be left over after the great tribulation starts and Jesus comes. The first fruits that Jesus took up with him at his first coming was the beginning of that remnant. It's not going to be some wackadoodle who thinks they are of the remnant who self appoints themselves.
The outpouring of. accurate knowledge hasn't taken place yet. It only makes sense that when that happens, then those that follow Jesus and act on what he says will be the ones he picks. But don't tell society that for they are exposing their true colors and are being made the laughing stock through their teachings. Get out of her my people if you do not want to share in her sins(society's lies and misquotes) and plagues(society's punishment).
Think about all the dates that hinge around 1914 and the teachings back then and yet these professed annointed had based their socalled accurate knowledge on these goons and what they taught. Yet, it will be these ones that will be made the laughing stock and not the watchtower b@&t@rd$!
Oops! Made a mistake. That twenty-four elders are not part of the 144,000. That 144,000 still have to be hand picked my Jesus.
Most importantly, the line of thought leads to no appointment of a singular Slave class in 1919. The Watchtower’s authority topples entirely. An entire theology implodes upon examination.
This is the #1 reason why they cannot get rid of 1914…or 607 BC.
Depends on how much you discredit 1914. If the idea is that since the destruction of Jerusalem actually happened in 587 bc, Jesus was enthroned as King in 1934.
So in essence:
1. The gentile times are still over
2. Jesus' has begun to reign in heaven
3. True religion has arrived
4. You're actually NOT a part of "Babylon the Great"
5. Last generation now makes more sense, since many people born in 1934 are still alive
6. Yup, since it's all bullsh1t anyway, You will still grow old & die
7. You've still wasted thousands of hours of your life for nothing serving a manmade religion
Maybe we can add such gems as
8 - Jesus inspected all religious around 1937 and found the Watchtower to be the best.
9 - Satan waited for Jesus to inspect all relgions, and then caused the events leading to the start
of WW2 in 1939.
And Finally:
- Aren't we happy that Jehovah provides increasing light as the time of the end draws near? Clap! clap! clap!
Unfortunately, many witlesses just doze through the studies, not really grasping what is being talked about.. Especially in the most important studies. If 1914 were to change, many would shrug and say, "so? It's still The Truth!"
My wife is one of these. Absolutely no grasp of what 1914 means, or anything else. Just listen, obey and be blessed.
