    THE PIONEER WALK

    Let's stop and gawk,
    at the pioneer walk.

These are urgent times in which we live,
looking for folk to whom we can give,
a mag or two or a Bible stud,
tryin' to avoid a name like Mudd.

The message comes, "Make time count",
from the Fateful Slave, the spiritual fount,
"No time to waste on this ol' Syst,
Fill your bag and put your nose to the grist."

If you're a Bro, puff out your chest,
    you must take the lead at the GB's behest;
the sisters all know its a man's paradise,
so they'll follow you round like hungry mice.

If you're a Sis, puff out your cheek,
show 'em you're tired but ever so meek,
you're part of the army doin' the Org's work,
looking after your family's no reason to shirk.

Keep in mind all those wonderful peeps,
who walk for miles just to get to the meets,
swimming with the crocs and facing the danger,
keeping it reg'lar won't mean your a stranger.

'Member that Bro, has a regular share,
just one lung, under medical care?
Whatever the weather he'll be havin' a ball,
knockin' on the doors, an example for all.

    Pioneers are an awesome bunch,
some walking tall, some with a hunch.
Looking for those with a spiritual need,
taking their time slowing the speed.

"Armageddon may be round the corner",
I heard it said from Brother Horner.
So now I keep a steady pace,
and tell everybody its not a race.
