I'll be "frank" and "earnest" with you.. please explain in more layman's terms what this expression means
and why you use it ... Are you saying people are looking for praise and attention that is beyond normal ? What is the borderline
between normal desire for praise and acceptence and what you define here ?

The Watchtower Society had a radio program years ago. It was started
in the early 1920's. The Society refers to it as WBBR, this is a
little misleading as this is only the call letters.
The Society also leaves the impression that the radio program
consisted of sermons given by "Judge" Rutherford, this too is
misleading.
The Radio Show was the brainstorm of Norman Woodworth, the name of
the show was "Frank and Ernest". It consisted of two brothers
Named "Frank" and "Ernest" dialoging on a variety of scriptural
topics.( It was also frank and ernest to look into the scriptures.)
By the year 1928, Rutherford had made so many doctrinal and
organizational changes that the producers of the show could no
longer support the WTBTS, therefore Norman Woodworth and others
withdrew their support, left WBBR and took the "Frank and Ernest"
show with them.(Studies in the Scriptures officially ceased publishing in 1927. [ 1 ] )
The Frank and Ernest show was then supported by the Associated Bible

In 1928 Norman Woodworth (Clayton Woodworth's brother) Clayton J. Woodworth, editor of the Consolation magazine (which used to be the Golden Age, and later became the Awake!)
"Norman Woodworth of Rutheford, New Jersey created the radio show for the Society, it was a dialog between two Bible Students, discussing an array of Biblical topics, the name of the program was "Frank and Ernest." Apparently even while the judge was making changes Woodworth was still preaching Russel's Divine Plan. One day Rutherford tuned in and was upset at what he heard, so he called Woodworth into his office and handed him a manuscript and told him, "from now on I will write the show." That was the last straw and Woodworth left the Society and took the radio show with him, that was in 1928," ~~ RR

Frank and Ernest is the name of an international religious broadcast by the Dawn Bible Students Association, which has been heard on many stations, including Radio Luxembourg. The program's format was generally that of a personal dialogue, wherein "Frank" asked "Ernest" a question (or vice versa), and a reply is given in order to expound upon the Bible.
In 1928 Norman Woodworth, following intense personal disagreement with the new policies and practices of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, left to create the radio program Frank and Ernest with the help of the Brooklyn, New York Congregation of Bible Students. He had previously been responsible for producing the same radio program for the Society.
The Dawn Bible Students Association was formed as a printing house by bible students who had left their association with the Watch Tower Society.

Amazing history, if only JW's knew, there is simply no Holy Spirit in evidence in any of Joe Rutherford's dealings, the man was a bully and a control freak, traits that are evident above all others in the WT today.
