How much would it have cost these ratbastard cheapskates to properly dispose of the chemical waste.

Folk singer and enviromentalist Pete Seeger single handedly has done more to correct chemical waste dumping in our rivers than the 7 million JWs and their rotten leaders have ever done or will ever do.

The WTBTS has said several times that " ruining the earth " and man " ruining it's way on the earth " are the same. Still, I can't recall seeing a specific magazine article about it. Anyway, it just means that people like Pete Seeger will be killed at Armageddon for not being a JW. He is wasting his time fighting pollution. He should be asking for a free home bible study. He has ruined his way on the earth by not becoming a JW.

I wonder if the town of Warwick would be interested in Cedar's article..... If the pollution pre-dated any laws then it may not matter. I imagine a bunch of untrained good o'l boys being to told to get rid of all that ink. What do people do with their trash? If you can't burn it, you throw it in a hole and cover it up! So did they not know any better at the time, or was it laziness and greed?

Who doesn't know that pouring chemicals down the storm drain or burying them in a container that rusts doesn't pollute.

    United States Environmental Protection Agency
    Formed in December 2, 1970

The fact they buried and hid this chemical waste in the

1970's and 80's is not an excuse.

It was against the law for them to do that then and now.

They knew this stuff was hidden there all along.

These laws date from the 60's and 70's as is evidenced

by the formation of the Environmental Protection

Agency in 1970. The 1970's was a time of heightened

    awareness of these very issues.

Silent Spring is a book written by Rachel Carson and

published by Houghton Mifflin on September 27, 1962.

The book is widely credited with helping launch the

    contemporary American environmental movement.

The article dates to Jan, 2012, as to the JW.net discussions. Have there been any other developments since then?
