"made up of a small group of anointed brothers who are directly involved in preparing and dispensing spiritual food during Christ’s presence "

By saying "directly involved," are they suggesting that some on the GB actually write the articles and other printed matter? A highly dubious premise.

Does“the faithful and discreet slave” endorse independent groups of Witnesses who meet together to engage in Scriptural research or debate?—Matt.24:45,

No, it does not. And yet, in various parts of the world, a few associates of our organization have formed groups to do independent research on Bible-related subjects. Some have pursued an independent group study of Biblical Hebrew and Greek so as to analyze the accuracy of the NewWorldTranslation

“Thus the Bible is an organizational book and belongs to the Christian congregation as an organization, not to individuals, regardless of how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the Bible. For this reason the Bible cannot be properly understood without Jehovah’s visible organization in mind.”—The Watchtower, October 1, 1967, p. 587

“They say that it is sufficient to read the bible exclusively, either alone or in small groups at home. But, strangely, through such ‘Bible reading,’ they have reverted right back to the apostate doctrines that commentaries by Christendom’s clergy were teaching 100 years ago…”The Watchtower, August 15, 1981, pp. 28-29

Par 8 says: ‘Yes, read the whole Bible with the goal of finding gems of divine guidance and reassurance.’

Some of the gems that almost immediately caught my eye are:

    1. ‘Do not go beyond the things that are written’ (1Cor 4:6)

    2. ‘….If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll, and if anyone takes away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life….’ (Rev 22:18,19)

    3. ‘Every word that I am commanding YOU is what YOU should be careful to do, YOU must not add to it nor take away from it.’ (Deut 12:32)

The WTS has obviously overlooked and/or disregarded these gems of divine guidance.
