I heard on the GV that the St Paul's KH in Peterboro' UK has been offered to be the first USA style build in the UK.

There seems to be some delaying though.

    Anybody heard anything??

NB. This was a building and bit of land they purchased from the Plymouth Bretheren about 3 years ago. They've done little with it since.

What is the "US style" build?

Probably no windows and a left hand drive.

this was the one where when I was still an elder they were going to have a CO's flat but lie to the authorities and say it was for a caretaker(janitor if it's a USA build)

Hey PUNKOFNICE, the story that we got about property was that the Plymouth Brethern refused to sell to the Witnesses, but then some local businessman/developer bought it legit and offered it to the Org for a nice little profit!

Also, the C.Os accomodation is now a rented property somewhere in Peterboro, with the congregations in the Circuit footing the monthly bills.

the Searcher - It seems a long tome ago now. I forget the details but it was purchased at auction. There was/is(?) a large hall there that looked like a small warehouse. they were going to refurb it but I now hear they were planning a USA style build but there is something putting the stops on it.

Dare I ask if you are in my vicinity?
