    1. Who do you listen to? Jehovah or His organization?

    2. If you listen to Jehovah, how does He speak to you?

    3. If Jehovah speaks to you through the organization, who in the organization does He speak to? The GB? The FDS? Who are they?

    4. Are the GB the FDS? Who elect them? If in 1914 Jesus elected them, they are now dead, so how about their successors? Who elected them, based on what? Directed by the Holy Spirit?

    5. What did the GB or the organization get their message from Jehovah? Do they pray, or fast? Do they live the life and do the deeds like the men of God in the Bible did - living out the fruits of the holy spirit, casting demons, healing people?

    6. If not (to Question 5), then why?

Look, I don't believe this stuff any more, but a JW would have no issue with your questions at all. Here's how a JW would answer:

    1. Who do you listen to? Jehovah or His organization?

Both - Jehovah speaks to us through his word the Bible, and also through his organization.

    2. If you listen to Jehovah, how does He speak to you?

Through the pages of the Bible.

    3. If Jehovah speaks to you through the organization, who in the organization does He speak to? The GB? The FDS? Who are they?

He "speaks" by directing the FDS by means of his holy spirit. They in turn provide us with spiritual food based on the Bible and that spirit direction.

    4. Are the GB the FDS?

Prior to the release of the July 15 2013 WT - no. Upon release of the July 15 2013 WT - yes.

    Who elect them?

Jehovah does, by anointing them with holy spirit.

If in 1914 Jesus elected them, they are now dead, so how about their successors?Who elected them, based on what?

As before - Jehovah elects them by anointing them with holy spirit. The basis is that Jehovah chooses whomever he wants to and anoints them.

    Directed by the Holy Spirit?

    yes.

    5. What did the GB or the organization get their message from Jehovah?

    They get direction from Jehovah.

    Do they pray, or fast?

They certainly pray - if they fast, that is a personal decision.

Do they live the life and do the deeds like the men of God in the Bible did - living out the fruits of the holy spirit, casting demons, healing people?

Of course not. 1 Corinthians 13 says those miraculous gifts would cease with the death of the last of the apostles.

    6. If not (to Question 5), then why?

1 Corinthians 13 says those miraculous gifts would cease with the death of the last of the apostles.

This is stuff that even a "rookie" JW could answer. You must not have spent much time with JWs, or at least not much in the recent past.

Again, this is stuff even the newest JW could answer:

Q7) Does the Holy Spirit teach wrong teachings?

    Of course not.

Q8) Is the GB directed by Holy Spirit?

Yes, they are directed, but they are not inspired. There is a big difference.

Q9) If the GB has taught wrong teachings then either the Holy Spirit teaches wrong teachings or the GB is not directed by Holy Spirit, which is it?

At times in the past, the organization has had a murkier understanding of certain Biblical teachings. It was not then time for Jehovah to reveal theentire truth to them. As years have passed, the light has grown brighter and Jehovah has allowed better understandings of certain teachings to come out. Being "directed" by holy spirit does not make the organization infallible. The organization is comprised of imperfect humans who sometimes make mistakes.

Q10) If the GB in the past have taught wrong teachings then how can I trust their advice now and on into the future?

You should trust them because there is clear evidence that Jehovah is using them. Who else preaches like Jesus told us to? Who else uses the name "Jehovah" and has restored it to the Bible? Who taught you the bible truths you know? Where else would you go?

If they sometimes get a detail or two wrong, that does not detract from the overall eidence that Jehovah is using them and blessing them. If it is important enough, Jehovah will see to it that it gets corrected. Wait on Jehovah.

It seems you too have been away from JWs for some time.

If you plan on using these arguments with a JW, you ought to at least be prepared for the response you will get.

    64) In a Judicial Comittee hearing, if the desicion is from Holy Spirit, ultimately Jehovah(TM) himself.....then why are 7 days to appeal the desicion of the universal almighty inerrant god given? Did the J man change his mind like he 'evidently' does with the men of sodom?

You're right. I don't have much exposure and understanding of the JW beliefs. My questions are not trying to proof that they a wrong but to see what they say about the whole thing.

1 Cor 13 is talking about prophesies, and other stuffs as temporary gifts, and Paul used that to emphasize on the important of love, faith and hope. I just don't see how it relates to cessation of those gift when the last apostle died. Besides Paul use himself as example, he wasn't the last apostle to die.

What utter nonsense...there is NO difference between inspired or directed by Holy Spirit...either the HS is behind the GB's ideas and thoughts or it's not...

The bible writers were "Inspired" to write their books

The GB are directed to give us teachings...

    THAT IS THE SAME!

So for instance the society taught prior to 1962 that if you took an organ tranplant you were in fact a cannibal and you asorbed the traits of the person who you got the organ from, and you were to be disfellowshipped...

Was that from the GB? Yes...are they directed/inspired by Holy Spirit? Yes...so Holy Spirit got that one wrong then as after 1962 they scrapped that idea.

The only way Holy Spirit is not wrong is if the Holy Sprit did NOT direct/inspire the GB to teach that teaching and therein lies the whole issue because that means you cannot trust the GB if what they produce may not be as a result of direction/inspiration from the Holy Spirit.

So the holy spirit gave them the wrong directions eh?? I guess the light is not bright enough to see even for the holy spirit..

A quote from Don Cameron's excellent Captives to a Concept book:

    A Spirit-Directed, Uninspired True Prophet?

Here is another example of how faulty reasoning eventually catches up with those who try to force the Bible to uphold

    their illusion…

The Governing Body does not deny that the organization claims to be, or acts as God’s prophet.109 What they do

deny is that they are inspired.110 Somewhere along the way someone came up with the idea that it’s all right to put God’s name on their teachings and prophecies as long as they don’t claim to be inspired. But this causes a problem that they apparently haven’t noticed yet. According to the

Bible there are only two kinds of prophets:

    • True Prophets

    • False Prophets

True prophets are inspired by God. False prophets are

    not…

    • Inspired true prophets

    • Uninspired false prophets

But the Watchtower’s religious leaders have created a third kind of prophet that is a mixture or combination of both a true prophet and a false prophet…

Added to this is the fact they also claim to be “God’s spirit-directed organization.” Therefore, when you add up all the things they do and don’t claim to be, they end up a kind prophet that has never before existed. They now have an illusionary Spirit-directed, uninspired true prophet to go along with their illusionary God’s organization.
