I agree! Perhaps you remember the quote from CTR, stating that if the WT is wrong then you do not have to agree.

Neither Bible Students nor Jehovah's Witnesses believe in or ever believe in the end of the world. They believe in a divine judgment, not the Adventist end of the world. They reject end of the world theology.
Theologically speaking they do when they claim at Armageddon god will cast down balls of fire and destroy all who rejected him and did not worship him.
Which by the JWS proclamations and teachings, that's about 99% of the world's population.
The end of the world in a religoius sense, not the end of the world like the entire world is going to be completely destroyed.
Its clearly identified as a fear mongering apocalyptic religious publishing house.
In one of the latest Letters to Elders here in the U.K they said, about Corona Virus " this convinces us that we are in the final part of the Last Days". !!
I won't be around in a few years, but will you guys remind them please, of this failed prediction ?
In the News an interviewed Italian said, that for the first time in his live he could not travel from Rome to the Suburb where he was Born. ITS LIKE THE END OF THE WORLD for him, as he called it.
Some people are prone to over sensationalizing matters. JWS are one group of people who have been doing this out the fear mongering ignorance and teachings of the Watchtower Corporation.
