What is the gospel according to Jesus and his apostles? How different is it from the one JWs preach? And why is it different? Thanks!

The gospel of Jesus and the apostles is about what God has done for us through grace.
The "good news" of the WTS is about what we are supposed to do to please Jehovah.
Summarized in one verse, the gospel of Jesus and the apostles is John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV)
Similar is Ephesians 2:8-9: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast." (NIV)
By contrast, the "good news" of the WTS is all about works.
Their message is that everlasting life is obtained as the result of passing a loyalty and endurance test which involves lifelong obedience to the GB, especially involving meeting attendance and field service but also extending to detailed rules about every aspect of life.

The good news or gospel of the early church was about forgiveness of sins and reconciliation through faith in Jesus who they declared to be the Messiah or Christ.

The differance is this
Christ wants to give you life, and the WTBS$ wants your life.
The WTBT$ is a publishing company, if they dont move books they dont make money. They have to keep you up to date with the "New Lite", this is the reason why every few years we get new lite and a new set of books to explain the new lite. If nothing ever changed than there is no purpose to keeping the presses printing. Imagine, if rumors are true, and if WTBT$ does come out with a new bible, Just imagine how much money will be donated for such bible times every JW world wide. They stand to make a fortune, they have to pay no one to print such bibles, they get a huge discount on paper since they buy in such large quantities. And if you have watched closely they do not have to pay to discard their toxic waste. I wonder if the bunkers they are building are for such waste. You do the math.

so who are the modern day captives ? In this present world of things. They are the same types of people. honest hearted and suffering, trampled on by the world (all the earthly organisations that sytematically over rule and abuse their fellow human) if you like.
a proclomation addressed not to the theoritical reason, but to the hearer as a 'self'.
It's interestsing.
The point is, everything the JW's are saying, that finger they are pointing in their ignorance ...... can be turned around and pointed back at them ... because of their works.
when all of this abuse stuff goes massive ... like the catholics, the jws are going to find themselves in the same boat with what they have been bitching about quite vocally over its child abuse scandal, and wealth, and false teachings, etc. etc.... are they jw any different ?

Okie Dokie I will tackle the WTS gospel portion of the OP.....
The WTS's gospel of the Kingdom is simply 'Jesus was enthroned in 1914".
We began teaching this in March 1, 1925's WT article 'Birth of the Nation'.
Prior to this article the entronement was 1878. (BTW the parousia wasn't changed from 1874 to 1914 until 1943)
Why? Because the WTS historically makes such doctrinal changes to explain why the end is ever nigh, still managed to not yet happen and the WTS is still relevent in it's claim as God's Sole Channel.
We have a tendency to be a 'rear-view mirror' religion ....
For fun you can always cross compare Gal 1:6-9......Rutherford decided that holy spirit was retro-removed in 1929/30 from leading the WTS starting in 1918 and thus this 1925 different gospel teaching was given to the WTS by angels.....

This was the good news that was to be proclaimed, the news that God's Kingdom was already in operation.
