His being a Prophet like to MosesDe 18:15-18

    Ac 3:20-22

THe text mentioned does not identify an inidividual but rather it helps one identify a true prophet. This is a LAW not a prophecy.

There are lots of prophets in the OT after Moses.

His being born of a virginIsa 7:14Mt 1:22,23 Lu 2:7

Lets read a really old text and see what it says.

Check the scripture and the *TRUE* meaning of the word. Even the NWT includes maiden and NOT virgin. Read the text for youself.

You can read the articles on wiki and verify this for yourself and check with other authoritarian sources.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almah

Almah ( ???? , plural: alamot ?????) is a Hebrew feminine noun used in the Hebrew bible for a young woman of childbearing age who has not yet had a child. [1] Christian Old Testaments typically translate it as virgin , maiden , young woman , damsel or girl , although scholars agree that "almah" has nothing to do with virginity. [2]

    • #5959.
    • ???????
    • almah (761c); fem. of 5958; a young woman, a virgin:—
    • NASB - girl(1), maid(1), maiden(1), maidens(3), virgin(1).

We can see the word means a young woman who was often supposed to be a virgin. IT doesnt say VIRGIN EXCLUSIVELY.

    http://jw.org/en/publications/bible/isaiah/7

Therefore Jehovah himself will give ? YOU ? men a sign: Look! The maiden herself will actually become pregnant, and she is giving birth to a son, and she will certainly call his name Im?man′u?el

    Q2

Jesus was never called Immanuel and the text is clearly about Isaiahs kid and the problems of Israel with the Assyrians. Matthew says they will call him Immaneul but no except for that scripture the name Immanuel is never used for Jesus. IT doesnt even appear anywhere else in the NT.

    JESUS FAILS TWO THINGS HERE.

His being born in Bethlehem of JudeaMic 5:2Mt 2:1 Lu 2:4-6

Lets see what Micah really says.

2 “And you, O Beth′le?hem Eph′ra?thah, the one too little to get to be among the thousands of Judah, from you there will come out to me the one who is to become ruler in Israel, whose origin is from early times, from the days of time indefinite.

Bethlehem Ephratha h is not a town its a tribe. FAIL

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bible_prophecy

Micah 5:2 – Matthew 2:6 quotes this prophecy as fulfillment of the prophecy: "But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel." The verse in the Old Testament reads "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times." It describes the clan of Bethlehem, who was the son of Caleb's second wife, Ephrathah. (1 Chr. 2:18, 2:50–52, 4:4)

You can cehck out other sources and verify what or where BETHELEM EPHRATAH is.

If you read the rest of the text it also says the messiah will defeat the Assyrians (v5) somehting Jesus never did.

“Therefore he will give them up until the time that she who is giving birth actually gives birth. And the rest of his brothers will return to the sons of Israel.

4 “And he will certainly stand and do shepherding in the strength of Jehovah, in the superiority of the name of Jehovah his God. And they will certainly keep dwelling, for now he will be great as far as the ends of the earth. 5 And this one must become peace. As for the As?syr′i?an, when he comes into our land and when he treads upon our dwelling towers, we shall also have to raise up against him seven shepherds, yes, eight dukes of mankind. 6 And they will actually shepherd the land of As?syr′i?a with the sword, and the land of Nim′rod in its entrances. And he will certainly bring about deliverance from the As?syr′i?an, when he comes into our land and when he treads upon our territory.

THis text is not about Jesus. Again its about a different matter completely.

    FAIL

    THATS 4 SCIRPTURE 4 FAILS.

Its completely dishonest to select the ones i have highlighted and twist them and say they point to jesus.

I have shown 4 of your list are utter failures and not even close. I would suggest thatyou actually read the text and see what it actually says. Start with the four i have selected.

We can discuss other sin your list later.

It is easy to fit these prophecies and their fulfillment when the whole LIE-ble was written some time after this nazarene came onto the scene. Just tweak the prophecies with their fulfillment so they match, claim an earlier date for the Old Testament, and then use that to "back up" the claim that the nazarene fulfilled the prophecies. Trouble is, didn't something like 18 other Deities fulfill many or all the same prophecies long before the nazarene came onto the scene? Odin and Horus are two I can think of.

People should do their own research before committing to one theory. It is this stolen history, forced down people's throats as literal, that is why we don't have a Golden Age right now. This is why there is so much rubbish within the churches--Jewish, Christian, and Muslim are all the same crap. If people would trace the Jesus story back to its origin, they would find that he was nothing more than an embellished story (or fake) stolen from all the pagan Gods. And the more you trace it back to the point of origin, the more you realize the whole xian paradigm is a fake. And the jokehovian witlesses do nothing to address the real problem--in fact, they too treat it as literal.

    Wizard :)

Its funny how honest christians tell damn right lies all the time with a straight face. The virgin birth thing is a down right pathetic. Either it says virgin or it doesnt. The simple fact is even the scum bag WTS says MAIDEN. So the messiah will have a mother who is a maiden. WOW liek thats never hapepend before. Perhaps kids in Israel often had mother elephants or something and having a woman mother was rare. I guess we will never know.
