i think you were just not paying full attention man, not sure where there was room to be mislead. the moon of mars which is called phobos.

You're right. The picture used was for an object on Mars, but the title makes it seem like it was on Phobos. My bad.

On a somewhat related issue, I would like to know why NASA did not land probes near the so-called Martian "trees", "bushes" or "spiders".

If they are dismissed as fountains of liquid material, that still brings to mind similar undersea structures that teem with life on earth.
