Its kinda weird. Instead of "Thanks Joe" he says "Thanks you"?

Maybe hes really bad at remembering names and uses this as a crutch. Sounds like the kind of boss that doesn't care about his employees.

I accidentally type "thanks you" ALL the time in emails. Usually I see it and correct it but I am sure it has slipped through once or twice.
This is a common error and you shouldn't think twice about it.
