Prince is beloved for other than his writing ability. lol
I am intriged to see what an artist, such as Prince, would say, in a few words, for such a legend, as Dick Clark.
I am sure, Dick would be touched, that such a private person, would say a few kind words for him.

You're right Lois. However Prince did write some great songs, such as Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2U".

A couple of months ago Prince was on a talk show called " The View "
He was accompanied by Van Jones a Political analyst for CNN and some times MSNBC
They were workin' on a " WORLDY " project together instead of " waitin' on Jah "

Of course Prince is talented in writing songs. lol Hands down on that. lol He is a true entertainer and artist. How much bigger can you get than to be world renowned?
I was saying, he isn't paid for or known as an obituary columnist. He said a few kind words, for his Friend, that's all.
As far as Prince writing anymore obituarys in the near future, I hope all his Friends and Loved Ones, stay happy and healthy, for years and years to come.
Myself, I "bought" into the belief, that "soon" (how many decades is soon?) there would be no more obituarys, but "Resurrection" notices. How corny is that?lol

Probably why he had no problem joing the Borg, although he doesn't abide by the rules like the rest of the blind followers.

Prince's music in the 1980s marked him as a genuinely gifted talent. By perplexing contrast, his way with words reveals he's as awkwardly cliched and pedestrian as the next person when it comes to failing to compose a half-way decent obituary. No mention of the resurrection is a killer, though.
As for the short-one's arrested "take" on spelling, it indicates he's never progressed past adolescence when every pimply kid and their squishy cat earnestly tries to stamp their "unique" individuality on universal language. Nothing Compares 2 U. I feel a yawn coming on...
