thecrushed, thank you for clarifying, and that is what I meant. Not that I agree that it can be assumed that in the absence of religion, athiests ascribe to "survival of the strongest".

Thanks, that's what I suspected.
As thecrushed (I hope your not) pointed out Homo sapiens have thrived because of our ability to cooperate. Love, empathy and compassion has been an important part of our success.
