Watchtower’s prospecting for top leadership

Good points. The GB obviously is corrupt and rotten to the core.
But I wish you would quote the refuting evidence in your blog rather than just giving references for us to look up.

There must be reliable estimates. Frankly, it makes perfect sense that he would deflect the comment. Any pr person would do the same. Of course, from a doctrinal standpont, how many who die is not relevant? Normal people, however, would not view the Witnesses as just another amusing religious group if they had hard figures.
We can't expect the WT to do so. It seems that dealing with blood, which makes sense to so few, is great training for the GB.
Has anyone wanted to discuss JW doctrine in person with GB members as indviduals?
I would love to do so.
Does anyone know what is his prior worldly training was?

There has always been reliable estimates. But Watchtower has consistently either misrepresented those estimate or just never shared them with its readership. One of my blog articles details an instance of intentional misrepresentation and dishonest statistical manipulation by Watchtower in its handling of an article authored by famed heart surgeon Denton Cooley, MD.

In another incident, at one time Watchtower had Cooley perform a statistical review of more than 1,000 operations but when pressed to share this review in full Watchtower wouldn't do it. And, guess who held all rights to the research? That’s right. Watchtower. It was a work for hire, and Watchtower did the hiring.
Mark Sanderson is rewarded for following the same dishonesty his Watchtower master taught him.

I am surprised that Cooley would accept any money from them. It is sad to hear.
Your blog is awesome Marvin! I always appreciate the relevant topics and deep research you provide the community of JWN, when are you going to write a book on JWs and Blood or a real history of the Watchtower?
Marvin, since you are the expert with the "Blood Doctrine", are JWs allowed to take the "blood products" from other human beings? If they are allowed to take them, are Jehovah's Witnesses allowed to donate blood to make the fragments they take, to replenish supplies needed?
How can you take something so precious "blood" and not be willing to return the gift you were given "blood"?
Talk about opposites:
Matthew 9:20 says that Jesus Christ lovingly healed a woman who for 12 years suffered from a flow of blood. On the other hand Mark Sanderson and his 7 other WT leaders are the reason why tens of thousands over the years have bled to death!

I have often wondered how the process of selecting Political candidates actually works, but it is noteworthy that they all, men and women, are expert at not giving a full honest answer, even when seemingly backed in to a corner. So that ability must be actively looked for in a would be politician.
As you have observed Marvin, a similar qualification seems to be looked for in a candidate for joining the G.B, and as I think back over the years, the G.B members may not be the sharpest tools in the box, but they all knew how not to answer a question !
