Things which have no meaning have meaning

Philosophers call this pseudo-profundity. It appears to be a deep philosophical question, but is ultimately a meaningless paradox. Examples: "knowledge is just another kind of ignorance. Moving leaves you in precisely the same place. The path to true virtue is through vice. shallowness is an important kind of depth.

The Bible is filled with this sort of thing. Even worse are the koans of eastern philosophy.

By training the mind to embrace illogic eventually allows anybody to accept anything as profound.

Incidentally, in the opening paragraph, simply place your mouse curser over the "empty" white box and highlight in order to "see" the invisible message.

The point is not subtle: with the proper approach meaning can be discovered when otherwise hidden once we have the correct heuristic.

But, looking for "meaning" when there is no meaning results in our forcing it upon an otherwise "empty" context.
