    Mother of All Mistakes!

Today I added a new article to my blog addressing what should probably be ranked as the biggest mistake possible made by Watchtower’s top leadership. The material is documented by a new release by Watchtower dated November 9, 2012.

My article is titled Mother of All Mistakes! and is available at: http://marvinshilmer.blogspot.com/2012/11/mother-of-all-mistakes.html

If they can’t get this one fundamental thing right, they can’t get anything right!

More and more the words of Jesus at Mat 15:14 make sense to me as applying to organizations like the WTBTS:

“LET them be. Blind guides is what they are. If, then, a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

So the GB when working together has Jehovah's spirit and direction, but isn't that what local elder bodies pray for and suppose to have when they meet? So what do JWs' need GB for. Local elder bodies should have all the divine direction they could ever need.

This change makes no sense, even in WT terms.

Granted, more people are partaking at the Memorial instead of less, but why couldn't the GB just keep telling JWs that they are no longer going to publish the anointed" statistics, given that there are a lot of deluded or mistaken people partaking each year?

The most flabbergasting part of this new teaching is that it stands as a firsthand confession that Watchtower’s top leadership has either 1) never been honest about who it spoke for or else 2) was ingnorant of who it was serving as spokesperson for.

Well, duh-huh! How can anyone possibly be a spokesperson if they do not know who they are speaking for?

How many organization’s have leadership willing to say ‘We were wrong the whole time about who we were speaking for’?

    I bet not many.

Marvin, I'll go with choice #2: They're ignorant, and not just about this, but about a whole lot of other things!
