I think your dear wife is showing us the way ! Why do we make our words so emasculated because we care that JW's may be "offended" ?
You don't die from being offended, and I remember when my dear son said to my wife, who had said to him "but you don't want to offend Jehovah", he said "Mom, Jehovah is a fictional person made up by desert tribes 1000's of years ago ".
From that moment on I examined my beliefs.
