That looks like an excellent intiative. Have you had any feedback from professionals in child psychology or law enforcement?

The founder has spent two years working with child psychologists, law enforcement, educators, survivors and others who have taken similar initiatives all in preperation for the launching of U Touch I Tell http://utouchitell.org/

It is in its grassroots right now but the idea is to make this simple children's book available to educators and parents on a massive scale. The http://utouchitell.org/ websight also reaches out to victims of abuse by providing direction to professionals and vital information that can assist them in their recovery and coping process.

Along with the book comes a Music CD for children helping to get them familiar with the U Touch I Tell concept.

A second Music CD produced for sex abuse survivors is also included.

We are currently working on producing videos of the Music CDs to distribute through YouTube and other online video sources.

We also have several meetings scheduled with various members of Congress in the coming months.

"U Touch I Tell™" is a book with a bold, positive & direct message. It's the first step that helps children learn how to protect themselves from predators. It is suitable for reading to children at school, bedtime or any time.

It focuses on teaching your child the chant, “U Touch I Tell” using the illustrations to open a dialogue with your child - at his or her own pace and comfort level.

Yes there are plans to promote the book in the UK initially, then we are looking at translations etc. to get the book into other countries.

Good luck with that. There are some good childrens' organisations in the UK that I'm sure would be interested.

I am currently working on posting videos to YouTube which document the inception of the book as well as the making of the children's Music CD. It is very moving to see the children singing and fully understanding what they are saying. The book has helped even many of the artist's that have been involved with the project.

I like the concept because it takes a somewhat taboo subject and puts it forth in a positive way without any darkness. We are currently working on getting the book made available to Pediatrician's offices around the nation.

Pre-schools and Grade-schools have "safety days" where subjects of traffic laws, stranger danger, etc are talked about....This book provides another excellent way to approach a subject that not only will benefit the child....it is going to keep predators at bay when children everywhere are reciting the words "U TOUCH I TELL"
