Here is a speech given by Fred Franz in 1955 where he encourages those listeners that it is ok to lie to protect the organization. It is left open ended so that anything that could be preceived as a threat towards the beliefs and concepts of the organization can be lied about.

I have watched this American made 130 year old religion disrupt peoples lives. Everything looks great at first but later the real Truth begins to show. That of domination from a few old men from headquarters and having your family friends and associates being held hostage if they ever dare challenge the leadership.
Truely this is a frightening high control group.

Lying to unbelievers a Jehovah's Witnesses protocol known as 'theocratic warfare' is routine same as Moonie cult practice of 'heavenly deception'.

Remember-The Jehovah's Witnesses preach the blasphemous lie that Jesus had his second coming October 1914 and made the Watchtower leaders the rulers.
If they deny this fundamental they are lying more.

Ok... I had to quit listening at 8 minutes, 39 seconds. What a bunch of circular reasoning with emotional appeal, and assumptions. YHWH had promised that Abraham's seed would be like the sands of the sea, right? So Abraham should have know that nothing was going to happen to Sarah, and thier un-born child ( if indeed she was pregnant at the time), also Abraham should have known that he would not die either. Especially if Sarah was not pregnant yet. Abraham, although righteous, seems to have fallen prey to one of the most common snares, FEAR OF MAN. It seems like everything would have worked out just fine had he told the truth about Sarah being his wife. YHWH did promise after all. I am sure that both of those Kings mentioned would have been persuaded to let them go had he told the truth. Think of the witness he could have given! He really caused some problems by assuming he had to decieve these " worldy " people. Telling the truth always works in the long run. So Abraham had to make supplication for people that he screwed by not being honest. Notice what the account really says:

    GENESIS 20 ( ESV)

1 From there Abraham journeyed toward the territory of the Negeb and lived between Kadesh and Shur; and he sojourned in Gerar. 2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, "She is my sister." And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah. 3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him, "Behold, you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man's wife." 4 Now Abimelech had not approached her. So he said, "Lord, will you kill an innocent people? 5 Did he not himself say to me, 'She is my sister'? And she herself said, 'He is my brother.' In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands I have done this." 6 Then God said to him in the dream, "Yes, I know that you have done this in the integrity of your heart, and it was I who kept you from sinning against me. Therefore I did not let you touch her. 7 Now then, return the man's wife, for he is a prophet, so that he will pray for you, and you shall live. But if you do not return her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours." 8 So Abimelech rose early in the morning and called all his servants and told them all these things. And the men were very much afraid. 9 Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him, "What have you done to us? And how have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and my kingdom a great sin? You have done to me things that ought not to be done." 10 And Abimelech said to Abraham, "What did you see, that you did this thing?" 11 Abraham said, "I did it because I thought, There is no fear of God at all in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife. 12Besides, she is indeed my sister, the daughter of my father though not the daughter of my mother, and she became my wife. 13 And when God caused me to wander from my father's house, I said to her, 'This is the kindness you must do me: at every place to which we come, say of me, He is my brother.'" 14 Then Abimelech took sheep and oxen, and male servants and female servants, and gave them to Abraham, and returned Sarah his wife to him. 15 And Abimelech said, "Behold, my land is before you; dwell where it pleases you." 16 To Sarah he said, "Behold, I have given your brother a thousand pieces of silver. It is a sign of your innocence in the eyes of all who are with you, and before everyone you are vindicated." 17 Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, and also healed his wife and female slaves so that they bore children. 18 For the LORDhad closed all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham's wife.

Abimelech was innocent and YHWH knew it! He would have never messed with Sarah if Abraham had spoken the truth in the first place! Typical Distric Convention emotional appeal by a charismatic personality cherry-picking verses and telling you what to think and feel about them.

Not really surprising since he himself was a big prodigious liar for making up 1975.

Everything was for the Organization with that boy, creating weak doctrines with little support by the bible itself and then selling

it to the public like it was hot nutritious meal for the masses.

If power and money can be acquired through religion, there will always be men who will venture into this endeavor.

This one bothered me. I understand Rahab misleading the soldiers to save the spies, but how far can that stretched? I experienced first hand with elders and co's that as long as it was felt that the one being "lied" to didn't have a "right" to know, it was ok. Common procedure if felt necessary.
