    pg 28 par 18.

The very concept of "foreigner" has already

lost much of its meaning among

Jehovah's Witnesses, who pay little attention

to the nationality of those in

their midst. Recently, for example, several

of their smaller branch offices were

merged to simplify the work of oversight

and to improve efficiency in accomplishing

    the preaching of the good

news of the Kingdom. (Matt. 24:14)

    Oh no they didn't!

Closing Merging branch offices is evidence of not being prejudiced against foreigners? These loony toons have lost it bigtime!

What? That doesn't even make sense!

Recently, for example, several of their smaller branch offices were merged to simplify the work of oversight and to improve efficiency in accomplishing the preaching of the good news of the Kingdom save costs of maintaining multiple branches, sell of the property which was paid for by local donations for a huge profit to be sent to NYC USA, as it's needed to pay off all the lawsuits that we're losing.

The real truth about the truth is that sometimes the truth hurts. Spin it. Spin it.

Those who hold the power can spin the story anyway they want. It is as true of employers as it is heads of households, religious leaders and political leaders.

Who'd have thought door-to-door work could ever be seen as a "privilege"? that the repetitively dull articles in the Watchtower and Awake! could ever be considered by any stretch of the imagination "meat in due season" or that branch-office closures are evidence there are "no foreigners" in the organization?

No one with half an active brain cell ever would ever reach these ridiculous conclusions.

Yet, under the mindless spell of their leaders, the brain-dead rank and file parrot those conclusions.

This one isn't all that crazy really. They're just saying, the fact they don't view people as foreigners can be seen in the fact that merging the branches (for whatever unspecified reasons they needed to do it) was not a problems because various nationality JWs accept one another. For all their flaws, tolerance of strangers of any ethniticy is a good quality.

Most important is that they admitted themselves they reduced significantly the amount of branch offices. Just wait a few years to see if and where decline in numbers took place, and then this statement is great to be brought up again. Not very good performance if you state to take measures to improve efficiency and consequently the number of adepts goes down. Cedars will provide us with some stats over a few years.

It's all about control and power. Fewer branches, less chance of having someone doing things a little differently than what is done at headquarters.
