  The name Jehovah
  was invented first time in the Middle Ages primal!

  For all the world the information is testable, where the name Jehovah comes from, available on the Internet. On Wikipedia under the search word Jehovah, we find the following information:

  The name Jehovah already occurs repeatedly in the 13th Century in the Latin form of Jehovah. The Spanish monk Raymond Mantini, translated about 1270 different parts of the Bible from the Hebrew. In his manuscripts is on the right side the Hebrew text and on the left the Latin with Iehovah.
  
  Cardinal Nikolaus of Kues used the Tetragrammaton vocalized as Jehovah in several of his works, 1428, in his Sermon In Principio Erat Verbum.
  
  Petrus Galatinus published in the year 1518 his work "De Arcnis catholicae veritatis".
  
  As William Tyndale, translated the Pentateuch 1530, he transferred the Tetragrammaton also by using the word Jehovah.

  This information tell us:

  • The name Jehovah was only formed in the Middle Ages in its current form - well, actually invented!
  • The creators of the name Jehovah were Catholic monks!
  • The creation of the name Jehovah was willful!
  • The name Jehovah is the work of man!
  • Anyone who worships this name, turns to a human invention!
  • Anyone who says this name would be in the original texts - is lying!

  And there you have it, the God that is know to Jehovah's witnesses, is an invented GOD . So I ask. Who then have (as Jehovahs witnesses)we been praying to all this time. ???

  Sigh. All gods are invented. Regardless of when a new name was made up in any particular language, JWs worship the same fictional Canaanite deity as all Abrahamic religions.

  These are equal and parallel texts, chronicles and samuel, shows that the name Jehovah, with Hebrew letters, was none other than Satan, is interesting because there were the scribes caught her son called brood of vipers and children of his father the Devil, the Creator never called Jehovah, nor in any way.

  'Satan' (capital S) didn't exist in Jewish folklore at the time. It just meant any opposer as a generic term. The invention of the 'Satan' character as an individual is much more recent. The Genesis story (along with some other OT references) were later retconned by Christians to identify the 'snake'/'opposer' as 'Satan'.

  it's a different language we are speaking, that is all.

  that is how we need to look at it.

  this is really important toward getting jw's to wake up.

  we have to use their format to show them there has been a big deception. they have been tricked.

  yes to you its a story, to believer it is the same story, but it is told by two different peoplle in two different ways.

  the evidence is the same, the practical, the theory is confused. we need to help people understand and teach them how to decipher the story

  We need to stand back from the problem, evaluate it, and find a formula that will work to translate (for want of a better word) the information into a simplifed version thats easier to grasp.

  Like working together to crack a code.

  edit: trust. it all about trust.

  who do people listen to, who do people belive, who do people take direction from. from someone or something they trust.

  like children, they trust their parents, yes.

  So if they trust their father, their god, they will be guided by and do what they are told, blindly following, because they trust.

  the org is the mother, so they trust, same thing.

  they will cling to mother and father because that is where they feel safe from the evil world of satan.

  But they haven't been 'tricked' in the manner you say they have. In regard to the deity JWs worship, they have only been 'tricked' as much as any member of any Abrahamic religion. The claim that 'Jehovah = Satan' isn't any kind of explanation. It's just wrong.

  There are plenty of ways of showing JWs objective things about their beliefs rather than quibbling about subjective semantics.

  How about the anthropological evidence of continuous civilisations all over the planet long before the timespans posited by the 'Noah's Ark' or 'Adam and Eve' stories (both of which they take literally)?

  How about the great amount of evidence showing that not even the Bible supports their beliefs about 607BCE?

  What about the many (many) contradictions found in the Bible?

  Before you jump on me, go read about the magic rocks on the high priests chest, urim and thuranim(sp). THis is how they communicated with Jehovah for hundreds of years.

  Urim and thummim.

  THrowing dumb rocks and then making stories up, all the while soliciting gold, money and obedience from the peoples.

  And don't forget about the best bits of meat being reserved for the priests too.
