I was just reading this morning that the ancient Egyptians viewed hedgehogs as sacred because they bury under ground and are therefore presumably in contact with Osiris in the underworld.

I love my hedgehogs.
If they were considered sacred by the Egyptians does that make me an idolator? I do go down on my knees to them every morning to give them their food and water
