Not really relative to 'where he is now' but an interesting thread from 2006 re: JBS:

He is 'active'.....
Primary residence is in Brooklyn...
I understood him to be doing 'time' in Patterson recently but that was well ove 6 months ago....
Judah and Amber didn't get to pick who their dads were......I am not in favor of hounding the guy/couple because I think there is some valuable lessons to be learned from the way Malcolm Rutherford was treated by ex-JWs.

My recollection is that he was involved in human rights negotiations on behalf of JWs in some eastern European country in the 90's, possibly through their NGO capacity with the UN.
Like James Woods, I recall at KM School in Pittsburg in '69 that, after classes, Schroeder would quickly change into casual clothes and be tossing a baseball with young Judah Ben, who appeared to be about 12 as all the KM students walked to their cars. I recall, thinking even then as a true believer, that the event was obviously staged to give us all a lesson in good parenting.

Is his name a patronymic, or is Ben short for Benjamin?
Ben, as in "Son of". Judah Ben Schroeder = Judah, son of Schroeder.
Nothing prideful there, eh?

Seemed to be a nice hard working kid in the 70s. Waiter. Nothing Wacky about dad in comparison to some of the other GB I remembered. (No one complained within earshot of Judah- just to be safe)

Someone posted this a while ago, and I found on line again. It's from 2007.

Edited to add: Page 13 is Amber's synopsis of their life thus far.

Jaimebowers...great link, pretty much tells us what we came to this thread for...up to 2007 anyway. But it sums up BOTH of their Columbia U. resumees. Interesting. Thanks!

heh so it's ok for Judah to get his masters but if I did or sent my kid to college I'd probably have my privileges removed (if i had any)
