Jehovah Witnesses go a little further than most by placing a expiration date on their spiritual food. Most all of the spiritual food they have given out has expired. That is why ALL JW's are spiritually sick and take anti depression meds.

Pistoff Do you know that the Watchtower has been or is presently soliciting financial donations using the United Way? Someone posted information before about this. I was profoundly shocked and dumbfounded. They are however, very smart in hiding their real identity and purpose.

The United Way program has for years offered givers the ability to choose specific organizations to donate to. Many jws don't donate at the KH even.

Individuals may help, but there is nothng in the organization to help put any effort together. They frown on outside charities, because it takes away from donating to the Kingdom.
Now from what I learned here though, they do profit from natural disasters. If a hurricane hits, then individuals feel moved to help out and start donating money, materials, and labor. The org will put this together. So these volunteers go along and rebuild homes, at no expense to the society, and when the home owners insurance money comes in --- they are expected to donate it to the org. For something the org never paid for!
So while feeding poor children could never give them this type of yield, organizing disaster efforts enriches them---so they will do that.

Hi Wasblind.... . My ex goes to the KH to feel better and i think this is a drug to her as she is a feeler rather than a thinker. The repetion possibly is lke listening to a favourite record. For me it's like hearing nails drawn across a blackboard and try to avaoid it at all costs.

The secretary of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society was grilled on this in a hearing before the US Congress at the height of the Great Depression.
MR. SIROVICH. Outside of preaching the spiritual Word of God, have you done anything for the poor devils who find themselves economically deprived of a living and in starvation and hunger, or penury and want; have you taken any of that money to help them, outside of preaching to them?
MR. GOUX. The commission that is entrusted to Jehovah's Witnesses is to bear testimony among the people as to what he will do to permanently relieve not only a few, but the people of all the earth.

MR. GOUX. I am answering, Judge, merely to show that those who are doing this work are seeking to carry out the mission given to them.

MR. SIROVICH. Do you do relief work in the sense that the Salvation Army does? They are preaching the Gospel of God, but bringing some tangible results to those who are suffering from a lack of the necessities of life. Are you doing that, or not?
MR. GOUX. That is not the purpose of this activity; that is not the purpose of this association.
THE CHAIRMAN. You do not do that, then?
MR. SIROVICH. You do not do it; that is all.
