Personally I could not bear to carry the label JW any more, but I like your argument and some may be happy to do it, a bit like a number of my Jewish friends proud to say the are Jews, but will join with me in scoffing a bacon sandwich quicker than you can say kosher.

I don't think the public would trouble themselves too much, but it would upset a lot of hardcore Dubs if there were hundreds of thousands of "JackJW's" openly and with impunity not towing the Party line like they have to !

Right now I'm thinking that is the BEST idea I ever heard!

    Co-worker: "I thought "Jehovahs" don't do birthdays?"

Me: "Some don't, some do...is that chocolate?"

Actually, I was talking to my cousin, who has decided to become a jw at the age of 69 after the rest of us in the family have been in since before we were old enough to go to school. She told me that jws were the only ones who witnessed. I told her I witnessed about Jehovah and was witnessing at the time we were speaking. She had no answer. I guess you are on to something, anyone who speaks about God, Jehovah, is a Witness of Jehovah.

Have they trademarked the name or is it a generic name like Christian?

    PHG.
