Wow, with the next series of releases coming directly from jw.org, instead of DVD's ... the mind can only wonder what the new releases will be:
The Return of Sparlock - The movie begins on a quiet street in Anywhere, America. The grass is green and a gentle breeze. Children are walking home from school. Neighbors wave to each other as they go about their daily business.
But there ... in the trash can ... the lid begins to move. Two dark eery eyes peer into the distance. Yes, it's Sparlock. When noone is watching, the lid of the trash can flings open and Sparlock emerges unscathed. And in an instant, he is gone from sight.
Later .......
The moon is bright. The screech of an owl is hear in the distance. But Caleb's mother is in a deep, restful sleep. But what is that pounding on her chest, what is it that is forcing her to open her eyes and wake up ???
Yes, it's Sparlock.
He casts a spell on her and she is unable to move. She can only gaze at him as he stares her in the eye. He touches his magic wand on her forehead and says "You must be like one of us, the Amish."
Calab's mother then goes into a deep sleep. When she wakes up, she jumps up and says, "I'm going to remain faithful in the Truth! I will stand firm for righeousness!"
And so she did for a time.
But then she began asking questions and doubts set in. She had the electricity turned off in her home. She sold the family car and bought a horse and buggy. She quit her part-time job as a secretary and began baking pies in her home and selling them at the local Farmers' Market.
When questioned by the Brothers in the Kindom Hall about the changes she had made, she simply kept repeating "Ask Elder Sparlock".
And so the story continues in that sleepy town ... and so goes the Saga of Sparlock.
