Let's raise the odds a bit...

    I meant knowingly lie....

If you want to get your point across, they have to know, that you know, that they know, that they lied.

    JW - Knock, knock.

HH - How long have you been a "publisher of the good news"?

    JW - 30 years.

HH - Why then are you not able to explain the "good news" according to Paul, Moses, Isaiah, and Psalms from the heart?

    HH - Is "legalism" apostasy?

    Fernando; a mock conversation between me and a Dub;

Me; I was watching some stuff on TV some time back and was fascinated to see some youngsters at one of your conventions getting ready for baptism , I noticed some of the kids were as young as 10 or 11 years of age?

Dub; yes that's true isn't it wonderful to see such young ones dedicating their lives to jeehovah?

Me; if perhaps a year down the line some of those very baptized kids start having major doubts about the unique doctrines that make them JW's, for example they might not be too sure about the claim that The WTS is the only channel that God uses to dispense Bible truths to mankind? or perhaps might not be sure about the claim that 1919 was the date that your organization was selected by God, or that the ban on blood transfusions was biblically correct? and they started to vocalise these doubts to friends and family members would they be free to express these doubts without the threat of disfellowshipping, cutting off and shunning?

Dub; oh of course not , we love our young children in Gods organization they are free to speak freely anytime they like if they have any serious doubts , our loving elders are always at hand to help them, they would never be disfellowshipped or shunned! I think you've been listening to apostates!

What odds would we get of a Dub in this scenario anywhere in the world lying?

...blah ... blah ... blah .... and they started to vocalise these doubts to friends and family members would they be free to express these doubts without the threat of disfellowshipping, cutting off and shunning?

A good Dubby would never answer 'yes' or 'no' to this. They would lead you on a merry dance until they got you to a subject where you did agree with them.

I'd be controlling the conversation BS, and there would not be 1 single subject we'd be agreeing on, it's such a shame I rarely see them these days. There was a YouTube vid posted here sometime back when a guy started speaking about the very subject I wrote on the above post, he was speaking with 2 elders, one fat one and 1 old one and the fat one definitely spoke about young baptized kids were not faced with DF'ing if they disagreed on doctrine.

I have had long term Dubs pull this lie on me too.

I demand that they trot out the paperwork to prove it. They never have. They can't. They are liars. The reason I ask them to prove it is because I want them to know that I know that they know that they lied.

Jesus said, "Let your yes be 'yes' and your no be 'no'.

The Watchtower said, "when in doubt, prevaricate."
