Since I try to speak for truth and not against it, my answer is no.

I used to view myself as an apostate in the early days, but now I realise that I had the opportunity to think for myself, research and examine the various 'truths' I was brought up with and decide to follow reality and facts and my own conscience.

Apostate is still such a loaded and negative word, so I prefer to use more positive ones like free thinker, rationalist, humanist or atheist. I'd rather not label myself at all, but if needed, then I'd rather use a positive one than a negative :)

I'll lay it out like this

If the WTS can change the definition of a generation

then for me , apostate means those who tell the truth about da " Troof"

I think it is O.K for a while to proudly wear the Apostate badge, but after a while the aim should be not to feel an ex anything, rather as Mel says above, to feel positive about what you are now and to label yourself thus.

    The past is another country.
