This past weekend my JW daughter and family came
to visit. This daughter not like my other daughter keeps in
contact. So when she is in town, she will stop by with the
kids. When we are togather we do not talk religion, but not
the case with her husband.
In town for the one day assembly and to see my four week old
grandson, name after me.
So all was going well until I was in the kitchen and my son-in-law
came in. Now they just came from the assembly so he was fired up.
Pop, when are you going to come back. At the assembly we saw
your brother(elder) and his family, his grandkids his kids all sitting
togather. I looked at my wife(my daughter) and tears were streaming
down her cheeks. She said I wish my dad was here, with us.
Pop, things have changed, there are A lot of lies out there. You
told me about the UN, that,s A baldface lie.
Me, son it,s not A lie, have you research your self.
It can,t be true, he said.
Pop, we are told to contact people that have been out for
many years, like yourself.
I really did not feel like debating, I knew it was all BS.
This is the son-in-law that convince my daughter that KFC
grows chicken breasts only.(reason why they are so large)
In the borg all his life and never been A MS, 44yrs. old.
To make A long story short, I ask him one question, explain
the new Generation change. He could not answer. And
then I told him, I am A agnostic. He was speechless.
But he did agree to hear me out ,why I am A agnostic.
These people never give up, my God I have been out since
1987.
