00DAD and Broken Promises - thanks for those comments, both of which I agree with. I don't think anyone should get excited by the above results per se, but it is interesting to think that there may be many more serving elders out there who hold similar views despite their tacit support for the organization.
Participation in the survey will always indicate a level of bias against the Society (even though supporters of the Society do occasionally get involved, and they aren't dissuaded from doing so). However, the results are still meaningful in that they prove that support for the Governing Body is not universal among all active JWs as the Society would have us believe. Hopefully, as the survey grows in popularity/notoriety, the results will more accurately reflect trends of dissent.
