Most theists are worried about pleasing their God. They will do whatever it takes, usually because they wish to avoid going to hell or eternal destruction. This goes on with the witlesses--self righteousness is very evident among them. It also goes on within other denominations. You mostly see that among missionaries and monasteries. Some missionaries even go so far as to disregard laws to recruit members, including invasions of countries, crusades, humanitarian aid contingent on joining a religion, and even kidnapping and raping children so they can recruit them or raise them in a different religion. Invariably, missionaries involved in this rubbish are forbidden from posting in blogs that they had to rape or kidnap a child so they could shame or sell them into it--and they are kept at sustenance so they can be kept dependent on the religion.
Most people that are unchurched, on the other hand, please no God. Whether they are strictly atheist, believe that God's existence is doubtful, or that God is corrupt and a Scumbag, they obey no God. Instead, they live their own lives and usually mind their own businesses. They don't invade foreign countries with a goal of getting people into their religions. They don't live in sequestered service. Nor are they so preoccupied with living forever in a God-created paradise earth or going to heaven. And they don't get involved in Islam-Christianity wars.
