Don't try Finnegan's Wake then, I reckon even Joyce didn't know what it was all about.
Thanks for the pointers to the other thinkers, all worth a read IMHO.

I have actually leafed through Finnegsn's Wake, and evidently Joyce is the only person who knew what that was all about. In fact, I believe he had a hand in translating it into French!

I think that "Ulysses" is an example of automatic writing according to Jung,, he hated reading it because it was so boring,,but psychologically he loved it or was drawn to it because of its connection to the unconscious.
