I'd say it's about time for southern Florida python skins to become the next big fashion craze...

There is already hunting allowed for feral pythons here. I hear they taste like chicken.

    This one ate a deer

    More deer:

This one ate a 6' gator and burst open:

You really don't want one of these slithering around where your children and pets hang out, obviously.

Here's a smaller one caught by one of our friendly wildlife officers:

Sad end for the burm. I use to breed them but many people aren't ready for large reptiles and when a small cute snake or gator gets too large the people end up simply dumping them outside in Florida and the problems begin. Burm hatchlings are usually around 18 inches and will eat sparrow size birds or full grown mice right after hatching so it's easy to understand why these larger reptiles can easily overtake an ecosystem.

The good old days of raising reptiles. Funny thinking about it, there were a couple of elders who asked if I bled the food before feeding it.lol

    Exotic pets...

    So desirable to the eye...

So many headaches when the reality sets in...

And the damage to the ecosystem begins...
