How about these thoughts then ? the truth will set you free" but this may not be correct in all circumstances. It isn't just the truth that sets you free, it is knowing the truth and then applying it that sets you free. understanding how things really are
The truth is there at all times – whether or not we recognize it – but unless we know the truth, and apply it, truth itself is powerless.
If freedom Comes with Knowing the Truth and then applying it then greatest truth is love
"love isn't love if controled or coerced " ... so true, if you stifle freedom of thought or action this isn't true love
