No, I'm sure the doomsday nutjobs usually think of American time only. Most of these crazies are ignorant Americans who think their time and day is all that matters.

I know where you are coming from, but due to the internet there are alot more educated americans now and are able to see the world picture, I think there are alot more yanks who now realise that the universe doesn't revolve around the Mid West. However in saying that the events are based on the myth from the Mayan's of Mexico, very close to America (US) so I suppose they are right in that the mythical event will be in American time.
