I remember them specifically mentioning bands back in the '80's at the assembly. My brother had to get rid of his Van Halen album and I had to get rid of my 'Thriller' album.
When the new Smurfs movie came out a couple yrs ago my son got a figurine in his happy meal, my mom told me to remember what the society said about that and that I should throw it away, I said that was stupid, and she said 'that is apostate thinking!' Lol Long live the Smurfs and Sparlock!

Even I was taught all those things while I was "studying". I never believed them....though yes, I was hypnotised, but into compliance, not belief.
