Proof that Jehovah's Witnesses Live in a Fantasy Land

As I attend some meetings I like to make notes on statements

that are made that make my jaw just drop and almost laugh

out loud. Here a collection from the past three weeks:

Elder states: "At the Elder's School we were told that our

New World Translation of the Bilble is one of the finest

gems that Jehovah has given to mankind."

From elder giving the public talk: "We are the only religion

that has God's spirit, not the church down the street." The

only problem that I saw with that statement is that the Kingdom

Hall was half full with about 30 cars, and the church down the

street had their parking lot full with an estimated 85 cars.

From Elder conducting the Watchtower: "No one takes better

care of their fellow believers than do Jehovah's Witnesses."

The only problem with that is my mother who is in her 80's

and been a devout JW most of her life, is in a nursing home

for the past 10 months has been visited twice by Jehovah's Witnesses,

however my brother who is not a witness but a Christian, has members

of his church visit mom every week and even help her eat and pray

with her. (I think that mom is loosing her religion)

Comment made by an elder: "Many of God's people thought that

the end was coming in 1975 and here we are now deep into the

time of the end. And the longest possible time that we will have to

endure this old system is until we die, and then we will be resurrected

into to a beautiful Paradise earth."

The only problem is that I was told back in the 1960's that the

end was so close that I would not even finish high school.

It is interesting how the elders now talk about maybe we will have

to die before the end comes. They have sacrificed their entire life

for a pipe dream and did not live their only life only to live for a

future life that may not even become a reality.

Elder from the platform: "Jehovah's Witnesses are giving a thorough

witness to every nation in the world." I wonder how the Witnesses

are doing in China with a population of 1.3 billion, or Pakistan with 172

million, or Egypt with 79 million people, or Iran with 76 million people

just eager to receive a witness or Turkey with 73 million people just

waiting for a knock on thier door, or Afganistan with 28 million people

eager to hear the good news, or Saudi Arabia with 27 million people

who can't wait to get the latest public addition of the Watchtower.

This just makes me Sour Grapes

It's funny, it took me a long time to understand why poster WTW called the meetings "boasting sessions." It's true, all they do is talk about how great they are, and trash everyone else. It's sad really.

Boasting- yes! But it's about nothing. There was a KH I helped build 40 years ago that was all alone- until a Baptist church moved in across the road- they expanded many times over 30 years- had to have 3 services on Sunday morning to accomodate everyone. Mercifilly, the city bought the KH to put in a round-about. The last I heard was they merged with another Cong- maybe the WT corp got all that KH sale money? It must have been embarrassing to watch the Baptists do so well.

And the longest possible time that we will have to

really when they said in the 1918's millions now living will NEVER die?!?

Don't forget India with 1,170,938,000 people.

The WTS does not teach that everyone will get an individual witness any more.

Fifth, we see a global preaching work being accomplished, which Jesus said would take place just before the end of this system. Jesus stated: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14) Today, that prophecy is in the course of fulfillment on an unprecedented scale. True, untouched territories still exist, and it may be that in Jehovah’s due time, a large door leading to greater activity will open. (1 Corinthians 16:9) Nevertheless, the Bible does not state that Jehovah will wait until every individual on earth has received a personal witness. Rather, the good news must be preached to Jehovah’s satisfaction. Then the end will come.—Compare Matthew 10:23.

    *** w95 11/15 p. 16 par. 5 Stay in the “City of Refuge” and Live! ***

Some people have caused human death willfully or through carelessness. Others have taken part in collective killing, perhaps persuaded by religious leaders that this was God’s will. Still others have persecuted and killed servants of God. Even if we have not done such things, though, we share community responsibility for the loss of human life because we did not know God’s law and will.

-----------but then they also said this in the same article although the number partaking has increased steadily

Sixth, the number of genuine anointed disciples of Christ is dwindling, though some will evidently still be on earth when the great tribulation begins. Most of the remnant are quite elderly, and over the years the number of those who are truly anointed has been getting smaller. Yet, referring to the great tribulation, Jesus stated: “Unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.” (Matthew 24:21, 22) Evidently, then, some of Christ’s “chosen ones” will still be on earth when the great tribulation begins.

All religions are counties of a fantasy land, ruled by a fantasy God.

If the local KH outdoes the Baptists, it will be touted as proof of Jehovah's favor, meaning that Armageddon is imminent.

If the Baptists outdo the local KH, it is proof that the whole world is turning to Satan, meaning that Armageddon is imminent.
