If you are terminally ill, they just use you whatever you do as a way to guilt others into doing more.

    I remember this:

An elder was going around pushing others to pioneer, yet he never had, said he had children. I shared this with him and said that there were examples of sisters with non-jw husbands and 6 children that were regular pioneering. I knew 3 elders that worked full-time had families and still regular pioneered. He left me alone. I shared my quotes with the ones he was pressuring...

A FEW years ago, many of us thought that only those with special circumstances could pioneer," wrote a pioneer, or full-time minister, in Japan. "It seems we were wrong. We are learning that only those with special circumstances cannot pioneer."

What this sentence really means in witnesses speak is if you are 100 years old, terminally I'll, or something similar, they won't pressure you to work harder for the org.

They will pressure for 15 minutes a month

Interesting use of language - and especially the word "pressure" - in the article. Hmmmmm. It's a dead giveaway.

I would have thought that only unwilling people need to be pressured. By all accounts, there's a lot of unwillingness in the organization that elders need to address.
