  My information is very dated but demonstrates the need for sane, competent, skilled workers.

  There was an old (looney) Bethel brother named Arthur Goux. He was rumored to have gotten reamed royally by Rutherford for planning to have one of the Judge's Self Important Declarations actually nailed to church doors, a la Martin Luther. Got caught in time before it turned into a massive cluster - you-know-what.

  Some of the Watchtowers had subtle differences in appearance because a Watchtower might be interpreted as a political symbol in parts of Africa, way back then. Also, somehow some Witnesses in Malawi might have gotten the idea Not To Pay Taxes.

  Some idiot(s) once spent a near fortune on a printing Press that had the approximate quality of a cheap rubber stamp (Randy knows)

  So, yes - Unthank's effort is a special case but don't underestimate the ability of a bunch of ignorant old men in Upstate NY to screw up because they live in an ivory tower, together with their international lackeys. Today Australia, tomorrow Brazil?

  The world grows more sophisticated and they dump Branches, Bethelites and attack higher education? Too Stupid To Live, I say.

  I wonder what a non-Borg conversation with one of those goobers would be like. Do they know anything about ANYthing other than the Watchtower's isolated world?

  I do not see A collapse for the Watchtower and

  Awake, but I do see an drastic drop in the distribution

  in the new future. The shunning policy will be their downfall.

  They will never go away, but will be A fringe group.

  This is the way I see it.

  I can only speak for the US. The family unit is being

  redefine. The family unit as the building block of society

  is underattack. For centuries, the traditional family was

  the basic building block of our society.

  Today we have same sex marriages(but it,s A family),

  I have no problems with same sex marriages, and we

  have single famlies.

  How many times have you ask A person, what do you

  know about JW,s. I bet you 90% of the times they will say, they

  break up families. With so many leaving the word is getting out.

  So with society(US) working towards making the family unit stronger

  same sex, single or what ever and then you have A group, working

  to destroy that unit, by shunning ex members, it will be their

  downfall.

  I remerber reading the top priority of Marxism. It was the abolition

  of the family. Marx laid down the strategy for it,s destruction.

  His thesis was simple, eliminate capital, exterminate the family.

  With JW,s eliminate God, exterminate the family.
