the actual quality of the print is of a high standard. of course it would look much better if it were printed on gloss paper or even varnished/lacquered after print. but it is what happens once it leaves the print floor where it goes 'cheap'.
when the new song book came out it just screamed 'cost cutting'. the print is too small and after only a couple of meetings pages were falling out. nothing is 'binded' like it used to be. its 'bonded'. poorly IMO.
maybe its part of the plan.
never again will there be 'millenial dawn' quality bookmaking. it means old light dissapears because the books dissapear while you read them.
they have stopped making the paper back bibles. both 'normal size' and 'pocket'. only the old black hardback are available now. any 'deluxe' are special order. the pocket deluxe has also been discontinued.
